In case you don’t know what the Halvening is I’ll just give you a brief rundown. The Bitcoin Halving or ‘The Halvening’ as it is known occurs every 4 years.
This is when the mining reward for Bitcoin is cut in half. That means each year the supply of goes down by 50%. So with Bitcoin becoming increasingly scarce and the buying demand going up all the time, you can see that the price will always go up.
Obviously the price will remain volatile but the general trend will continue to rise.
The last Bitcoin Halvening was in May 2020. The block reward was reduced to 900 Bitcoins per day or 328,500 coins per year. This rate will continue until the next Bitcoin Halvening in 2024.
